Self-Study

The self-study for our Bishop Search discernment took place during June and July, 2011. Hundreds of New Hampshire Episcopalians participated in a diocesan-wide survey, discussion forums in our six convocations, and a Clergy Reflection Day facilitated by our search consultant. Consistency between survey results and discussion forums was extremely high with regard to what we value about our diocese and what we identified as our challenges and opportunities. There was similar agreement about the qualities and skills (pastoral and administrative) we desire in our next bishop.

The Profile/Survey Subcommittee relied upon the shared insights, opinions, hopes and dreams to create our narrative profile and the video profile. The entire Search and Nomination Committee is grateful to everyone who took part in this necessary and important phase of our process.
